Your First Visit

The first consultation is a way for Dr Orji to get to know you and your expectations for pregnancy. He will discuss your health and various aspects of your pregnancy, such as delivery options, determining gender, etc.

During this visit, Dr Orji will also perform several assessments to assess the health of your baby, including:

  • Ultrasound
  • Monitor your baby's heartbeat
  • Check for any issues
  • Estimate your delivery date

Should you have any questions, Dr Orji will be happy to answer them and address any concerns. He is exceptionally skilled in high-risk pregnancies and equipped to deal with any issues.

Routine Check-Ups

Throughout your pregnancy, you will regularly visit Dr Orji so that he can monitor your and your baby's progress. Here, he will conduct ultrasounds and screenings to assess your baby's growth and check for any issues.

Routine visits are scheduled as follows:

  • Weeks 4-28: 1 visit per month
  • Weeks 28-36: 1 visit every second week
  • Weeks 36-40: 1 visit each week

Certain factors, such as multiple babies or being over 35, will influence the schedule and mean more regular visits. However, Dr Orji will discuss your routine schedule during your first appointment and lay out a guided plan for your pregnancy.
